Film Locations on Campus

Imagine the Unimaginable

Historical Locations

Perhaps the most historic of our campuses, the All Hallows campus has been consistently chosen as a location to shoot historic and period films and scenes.
All Hallows College was founded by Fr John Hand in 1842 when he acquired Drumcondra House with the support of the Lord Mayor of Dublin, Daniel O’Connell, and Archbishop Daniel Murray. At All Hallows Campus, you will find remnants of history such as Drumcondra House, Purcell House, Senior House, Dunboyne Boardroom, John Hand Room, and the All Hallows Chapel that has featured in some of the backdrops for many renowned scenes.
From glass reception areas to modern libraries, to state-of-the-art buildings and facilities, our range of campus locations to capture the ideal scene will keep you and your cast intrigued. With over 100 acres across three campus locations, you will find the most interesting and stunning scenes to capture.

Modern locations

There are three locations are on-site to shoot modern to historic accommodation scenes in three very different locations. The theme and tone of the location give a unique and dynamic offering to every production.

Testimonials

“We had the pleasure of Filming the Murder Mystery TV Series ‘Magpie Murders’ at DCU (All Hallows and St. Patricks). The Variety of Locations at DCU make it an incredible Location for Filming. The Historical and Contemporary Buildings at DCU added so much production value and played a pivotal role in the series. Brian in Events made the planning and preparation very smooth and was a pleasure to deal with; the Security and Staff at DCU went above and beyond to facilitate our Filming on-site also. DCU proved to be a great location for us and I look forward to filming there again in the future”
